Renaissance Robotics Breadboard Bundle
Get a quick start in circuit prototyping and analog filter design today with the Renaissance Robotics Breadboard Bundle, consisting of:
- 830-point breadboard
- compact U-shaped power supply module
- 65 flexible jumpers
- 140 less-flexible jumpers
- two LM324 quad op amps
The standard 165 x 55 x 8.5 mm breadboard design features 630 tie points on the interior (suitable for DIP placement across the center channel), with a pair of power distribution strips on each side of the board with 200 more tie points. Tie points are suitabe for 29-20 AWG wires. The accompanying minimalist U-shaped breadboard power supply module takes as input either 12V from a standard barrel jack (like that provided by the 12V power supply in the eduMIP kit), or 5V over a standard USB connection, and provides (individually-selectable) 3.3V or 5.0V on the two pairs of power distribution strips on the solderless breadboard. The convenient U-shaped design minimizes the number of tie-down points on the breadboard that are obscured by the power supply module. The kit includes 65 flexible solderless male-male jumper cables for very fast breadboard prototyping, as well as 140 U-shaped (less-flexible) solderless bare wires for building up more complex and stable breadboard circuits with neat wire layouts. (Both prototyping modes are valuable, but the latter is especially recommended!)
We also throw in two LM324 quad op amps to get you started in op-amp circuit design.
